Rosemary is a Director, Safety and Quality with a sepsis and readmission management focus. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Nursing from the University of Washington. Rosemary most recently was the Sepsis Coordinator at Harborview Medical Center and has served as the co-Chair of the UW Medicine Pacific Northwest Sepsis Conference Planning Committee. The Pacific Northwest Sepsis Conference grew under Rosemary‘s direction from a conference of approximately 125 people to an audience of more than 1800 in 2020. In this role Rosemary also helped to design and implement quality improvement efforts to promote early identification and treatment of sepsis across the care continuum. Prior to her work in sepsis, Rosemary worked at the Harborview Injury Prevention Research Center (HIPRC) where she helped to develop a care pathway for hospitalized children with severe traumatic brain injuries. Prior to her work at Harborview, Rosemary spent 12 years working on research and quality improvement projects in the Department of Surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center and the Surgical Outcomes Research Center.
