Rachel Burnside is a Senior Global Marketing Manager for Hematology. She has over 20 years of experience in clinical diagnostic laboratory, most recently in cytogenetics and cytogenomics at LabCorp in North Carolina. At LabCorp she was a lab director for 10 years, and served as interim manager for a large team of lab based genetic counselors. She completed her Ph.D. in microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics at the University of Kentucky, and earned an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business with a concentration in Health Sector Management.

Stephen Claypool, MD, is Medical Director of the Surveillance business for Wolters Kluwer Health, an organization that delivers expert solutions that empower healthcare professionals to make the best decisions. The organization uses clinical decision support technology, evidence-based medicine and predictive analytics to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Claypool has more than 20 years of clinical experience, having practiced internal medicine with Saint Paul Internists and was a hospitalist with St. Joseph’s Hospital, HealthEast, in Minnesota. He also has more than 25 years of medical informatics experience and is board certified by the ABPM in Clinical Informatics and by the ABIM in Internal Medicine. Dr. Claypool received his undergraduate degree from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs and his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. He completed his residency and chief residency in internal medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
